Schecter got together with Jeff Loomis (Arch Enemy, Conquering Dystopia) to create a very special signature model. The Cygnus JLX-1 FR has a star-shaped design with a body made of swamp ash and a top made of quilted maple with a See-Thru Cherry finish. The maple fretboard on top of the 3-piece maple neck adds a nice colour contrast. The wood types used give this guitar extra clarity and brightness which makes it great for playing face-melting solos. Unsurprisingly, this top-class electric guitar is ideal for serious shredders and metalheads.

Cygnus JLX-1 FR: an eye for detail

Loomis has decades of playing experience behind him and knows exactly what he wants from his guitars. This model has a super thin neck and the fretboard has a flat 16-inch radius that makes it easier to press down the strings. The neck-thru construction makes each of the 24 XJ stainless steel frets more easily accessible too. There are two active Seymour Duncan Loomis Signature humbuckers on board that deliver a powerful sound and a stable Floyd Rose double locking tremolo bridge that lets you add extreme vibrato effects to your playing without going out of tune.
