Allmänt
You can have it all with just a single guitar if you opt for the JTV-69S by Line 6. This classic-looking electric guitar is designed by master builder James Tyler and equipped with the Variax modelling circuit. Contrary to the previous JTV-69, this model is equipped with a single-coil pickup in the bridge position (instead of a humbucker) for more bite and sparkle. Within the JTV-69S lurk the sounds of no fewer than 29 amazing instruments. Chiefly, there's the sound of the actual guitar which is backed up with 28 realistic vintage sounds of electric guitars, acoustic guitars plus a banjo, sitar and resonators. What's more, you can choose from eleven different tunings by simply turning a knob. It is the perfect guitar for versatile guitarists!
Line 6 JTV-69S James Tyler Variax SSS: multi-talented
Despite the immensely clever built-in modelling technology, the Line 6 JTV-69S James Tyler Variax is a great traditional electric guitar with a lightweight alder body, a beautiful three-tone sunburst finish and a bolt-on maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fretboard. Its bridge is a solid James Tyler tremolo that retains its tuning excellently with a little help of the Graph Tech string nut. The digital section comprises a Model control that allows you to choose from ten different categories including T-model, Spank, Lester, Jazzbox, Acoustic and Reso. These are accurately mimicked sounds of the most coveted classic instruments from 1928 to 1976. You can use the Alt Tuning dial to choose whether you want the tuning of the JTV-69S to be a standard EADGBE, half a tone up or down, drop-D, DADGAD, open G and more.
Variax Workbench software and VDI
The James Tyler Variax SSS comes with Line 6's Variax Workbench software, your personal, virtual Custom Shop in which to create your dream configuration. The software allows you to combine 28 body types with 17 different pickups and thus combine your unique sound and tuning. Out phase pickups, reverse or stack them - anything goes! All of your creations can subsequently be assigned to the controls on the guitar. Moreover, the VDI (Variax Digital Interface) allows you to link your guitar to your Line 6 POD HD, POD XT and POD X3 processors and Vetta II guitar amp with just a single cable. When you change a patch on the POD, the guitar automatically tunes to the right sound.
