Misha Mansoor barely needs introducing. He's risen to fame as the guitarist of Periphery, performs solo under the nickname 'Bulb', and is widely known for his tight, Djent-style staccato riffs and fast-tapping leads. The Juggernaut ET6 is the welcome result of the latest collaboration between Misha and the Fender-owned Jackson. This metal-focussed axe features a basswood body with a bolt-on neck that's been solidly reinforced with graphite and finished with oil for super-smooth playing feel. The caramelised fretboard is made of maple as well, has a 20" radius and comes lined with 24 jumbo frets and finished with luminous side dots for some welcome guidance when playing darker stages. Also, thanks to the heel-mounted truss rod wheel, making any neck adjustments is as simple as can be.

'Bulb' and Jackson have spent a serious amount of time with their heads put together to develop the MM1 Signature humbuckers mounted the neck and bridge position. These high-output pickups pack ample dynamics and the kind of tonal tightness that would satisfy even the most demanding metal-head. The MM1s have even been left uncovered for enhanced brightness and transparency, and can be coil-split using the push-pull tone pot to open up a fresh range of single-coil sounds that are toggled via a 5-way pickup switch. With an EverTune F6 bridge keeping tabs on the tuning and intonation, tuning-troubles are a thing of the past, which is especially convenient if you tend to play with lower-pitched tunings. Finished in Chalk Gray and completed with a matching headstock and sleek black hardware, the Juggernaut ET6 is yet another undeniably solid and successful result of the partnership between Misha and Jackson.
