The Jackson JS22 Monarkh in Trans Black Burst is a super-fast electric guitar with a stylish finish and a quilted maple top. Its slim maple neck is fitted with a rosewood fretboard with a 12 to 16" compound radius and 22 jumbo frets, allowing for speedy riffs high up the neck as well as extreme tone bends. The neck and headstock have a single white binding that provides a nice contrast with the guitar's black hardware.

The pickups on this Monarkh guitar are high-output humbuckers that were developed by Jackson themselves. A three-way switch keeps their sound nicely balanced. The guitar's strings run along a Tune-O-Matic-style bridge and tailpiece that allow for excellent resonance of the poplar body.
