The Ibanez SA960QM is a high-end electric guitar from the affordable Premium series. Its comfortable, curved body is derived from the ultra-thin S series but has a flat back. The body is made of mahogany for a full, warm tone and beautifully grained. It has a quilted maple top with a Brown Topaz Burst finish which is also featured on the headstock. The neck is made of three pieces of maple with intervening walnut strips which doesn't only look chic but also offers more stability and strength. The Ibanez SA960QM comes with a Premium softcase and a practical multitool.

The SA is a musical chameleon, built to be versatile. It has an HSS pickup configuration by DiMarzio IBZ, with a fat humbucker at the bridge and two single coils in the middle and neck position. From sparkling clean to crunchy blues to high-gain metal, the Ibanez SA960QM excels in any genre. The floating SynchroniZR tremolo bridge provides you with an ultra-smooth ball bearing hinge. With the ZPS-FX system you can also make the tremolo work one way which facilitates easier string tuning. The tremolo arm is made of lightweight Duralumin in order to reduce vibrating of the tremolo, caused by the weight of the arm.
About the Ibanez Premium series
Ibanez created the Premium series to offer a quality as close to the Prestige line as possible while keeping its price to a minimum. These Indonesian-made instruments mostly have the looks of the exclusive J.Custom series. This guitar also features some of these looks, including highly comfortable rounded frets, wooden bindings along the fretboard and a solid 5-piece neck construction with an unvarnished back. Its hardware is similar to that of the Prestige and its pickups have been designed and made by DiMarzio.
