The Hagstrom Ultra Max Special: An Eye for Detail

Taking a little detour from the build of traditional single-cut models, the Ultra Max Special features a 25.5 inch scale length and super-flat 15 inch fretboard radius. The Resinator™ fretboard has also been kitted out with twenty-two medium-jumbo frets to result in a light feel and agile playability. String-to-body vibrational transfer is fully elevated by a Long Travel Tune-O-Matic complete with a Hagstrom Sustain Block™, which also packs the output with life and lengthens sustain to near-infinity. To finish, this high-end Hagstrom offering is reinforced by a H-Expander™ truss rod, supporting an ultra-stable foundation and an ultra-accurate setup.
