If you're looking for a single-cut electric guitar that gives you all the advantages of a solid-body with the sound of a hollow-body, this reissued Guild Bluesbird in classic black from the Newark St. Collection could be for you. It has a body made of mahogany which is chambered making it lightweight and comfortable, and giving it improved resonance too.
Bluesbird: TonePros, Grover and Seymour Duncan USA
The vintage-styled C neck profile is quick and smooth to play and the 24.75-inch scale length means that the string tension is lower making it easier to press the strings down. Modern upgrades include the TonePros NVR2 Locking Tune-O-Matic bridge, the TonePros Locking Stop tailpiece, Grover Sta-Tite machine heads and Seymour Duncan USA humbucker pickups. There's an SH-4 at the bridge and a 59 Neck SH-1 in the neck position.
