Fender's FSR '50s Telecaster in Lake Placid Blue is an electric guitar with authentic design elements and a few modern twists. It has a body made of ash with a maple neck. Combined, these wood types produce a bright sound with plenty of bite and the famous Tele twang, of course. This Fender Telecaster even comes with its own Pro Series tweed case.

FSR ‘50s Telecaster: versatile sound

This '50s Telecaster has a notable pickup configuration with an American Vintage '58 single-coil in the bridge position giving you the sound of an American Fender for an affordable price. There's a P-90 pickup in the neck position that has a sound somewhere between a single-coil and a humbucker that gives this Telecaster its unique character. This Tele also has a string-through-body bridge with three chrome saddles for extra resonance.

Familiar feeling

As you'd expect on a Telecaster with vintage roots, this model has a relatively rounded 7.25-inch fretboard radius that makes it easier to play chords. The narrow 41.3 mm string nut made of synthetic bone also adds to this model's playing comfort and ensures excellent tuning stability too.
