With the Time Machine '64 Strat, the Fender Custom Shop drops an undiluted stunner of a sixties-styled Stratocaster finished in a tasty Journeyman Relic Aged Olympic White paint-job and fitted with a round-lam veneer rosewood fretboard. Worn and well-loved in all the right places, this exclusive Fender model has the played-in look and feel of a six-string that's already seen over sixty years of action. Since this is a Custom Shop offering, it comes pre-wrapped in a deluxe hardshell case and bundled up with a strap and certificate of authenticity.

The Fender Time Machine '64 Strat Journeyman Relic: Classic Spank & Full Overwound Sound

To thicken up the output a touch, this special Strat comes loaded with three hand-wound Fat ’64 Strat single-coils so you're assured of that timeless spank alongside stunning tonal balance across every possible profile. The middle pickup has also been reverse wound and has a reverse polarity, ensuring that positions two and four of the selector switch are always kept clean of noise and, since all of this has then been fully backed up by Vintage Modified #2 wiring and a Tone-Saver treble-bleed-circuit, you're guaranteed pure and full tone, even when the volume pot it rolled back.
