Fender American Custom NOS Stratocaster Shoreline Gold RW
Allmänt
For any Strat fan who's grown tired of yet another model with a Sunburst finish or off-white colour: what about this American Custom NOS Stratocaster in Shoreline Gold? The inspiration for this model surely comes from the neighbourhood of Corona on the Californian Coast. This is your chance to get your hands on a gold-coloured guitar that doesn't immediately remind you of Prince or Liberace. Its champagne-like colour is as luxurious as the rest of this Custom Shop model. The neck is made of AAA flamed maple and the plastic parts have a lovely yellowed tint. The machine heads have special mother-of-pearl buttons. This top-quality Strat combines the classic '57 body with modern characteristics.
New Old Stock Stratocaster: pure tone
The sound of a guitar is influenced by all of its components; with the body having a large influence. Fender has gone to great lengths to source the best alder for this model. Alder is a popular choice for electric guitars because of its excellent sound properties. It offers a clear and powerful tone with a good midrange that cuts through any mix. Pickups are also an important element when it comes to sound. That's why this guitar is fitted with one hand-wound Texas Special and two '69 single-coil pickups. A synchronised two-point tremolo allows you to add vibrato effects and gives the guitar good tuning stability. No matter what genre of music you play, this Strat is a good choice.
American Custom Series
With the American Custom series, Fender's famous Custom Shop brings legendary Stratocasters and Telecasters into the 21st Century by combining contemporary characteristics with superior craftsmanship. Woods with striking natural patterns are used to guarantee you a top-quality instrument with a stunning finish. Rosewood or maple fretboards with a compound radius of 9.5 inches in the lower positions and 12 inches in the higher positions, ensure comfort when playing. This also makes it easier to play chords low on the neck, while bends higher up the neck are more accessible too. Narrow jumbo frets also help you play fast melodies with a pure tone. Finally, the pristine condition of the New Old Stock's urethane lacquer makes these models as easy on the eyes as they are on the ears.
