The stylishly designed LTD HEX-7 BLKS is a great-sounding signature model for serious metal guitarists. ESP/LTD built this 7-string instrument after specifications of Behemoth guitarist and frontman Adam Darski - who is more commonly know by his stage name Nergal. The two active EMG pickups produce an exceptionally tight and balanced sound that really does justice to the added bass string (a low B) thanks to the specially designed EMG 707.
The luxury features of the HEX-7
In addition to a pair of great humbuckers, the LTD HEX7 BLKS (Black Satin) is equipped with several other luxurious features. For instance, its resonant body is made of quality mahogany and brandishes a satin-gloss black finish with a graceful eagle print. The neck-through-body construction of this instrument gives it improved sustain and - together with the ebony fretboard - sharper attack. Moreover, this shredding machine is equipped with a fast, slender neck and extra-large frets for easy string bends.
