LAVA Music try to stir up a guitar-based revolution with the LAVA ME 2 FreeBoost! Firm believers that the future is better than the past, the team at LAVA have not only crafted an instrument that's lighter and more sustainable but one that plays and sounds fantastic. Since the body of the ME 2 FreeBoost is essentially a single piece of AirSonic carbon-fibre, significantly less glue was used for the build and the shape is extremely comfortable. For consistent and bright sound as well as rich playing dynamics, the BreatheNet soundboard has a honey-comb design where each honey-comb has a different height and thickness.
The ME 2 FreeBoost: Built-In Effects
Inside the travel-size body of this instrument from the future sits an innovative L2 Pickup that uses the back of the guitar as a kind of speaker. This way, the built-in effects can be used even when the guitar isn't plugged into an amplifier. No matter where you are, you can enrich your sound with chorus and reverb effects or drop in a little delay. The intensity and volume of the effects can be dialled in on the side, and the FreeBoost electronics system can be recharged using the included USB cable. Lastly, since the LAVA ME 2 FreeBoost offers so much freedom to play and perform, you're also getting an extra lightweight and manageable Ideal Bag 2.
