Electric-acoustic guitars with smaller bodies are steadily gaining popularity, which is not surprising, given that a full-sized dreadnought model can be quite cumbersome. As such, the Fender CF140SCE, with its compact folk-sized body, is a lot more comfortable to play. Do note that this Gloss Sunburst model is a highly limited edition. Be sure to order yours quickly, before it's sold out!
Impressive volume
It may have a rather compact body, but the Fender CF140SCE produces plenty of volume thanks to its solid spruce top. Besides that, the spruce allows for clear trebles that perfectly match the warm tone created by the mahogany sides and back. Finally, the rosewood fretboard and mahogany neck add some warm overtones to the overall sound. The hardware, too, is top notch. Just take a look at the GraphTech NuBone bridge and strings nuts, and the six Fender tuners that will keep your guitar sounding perfect!
Fishman Presys preamp
Fender has fitted the CF-140SCE with the renowned Fishman Presys preamp. This compact and advanced Presys system has built-in volume controls, a 3-band EQ for bass, mid and treble, and even a phase switch to counter unwanted feedback. Additionally, the preamp has an integrated tuner with a bright LED display so that you can easily tune your guitar. The Fishman preamp's clever design also means that you can change the battery easily when necessary.
