The J-15 AC Deluxe is Epiphone's own version of the legendary Advanced Jumbo steel-string guitar and comes at a way-more-than-reasonable price and including a deluxe hard-shell case. In other words, it meets all the basic demands of any travel-happy guitarist, singer-songwriter or contemporary troubadour. The neck has a classic Slimtaper D-profile for a satisfying feel, while that familiar and characteristically royal AJ sound stems from a spruce-topped mahogany body. All things considered, this flattop guitar is an excellent instrument to play a wide variety of styles.

The J-15 AC Deluxe: Authentically Amplified Majestic Guitar Sound

To shape its majestic sound and amplify it with authenticity and without including any unwanted piezo whistling in the higher frequencies, Epiphone have opted for a piezo pickup, which sends the sound to a Presys II preamp. Next to volume and phase controls, the electronics come with bass and treble controls, plus a built-in tuner with tune switch so you tune up without making any noise. While the J-15 AC Deluxe is great for solo performances in combination with a PA or acoustic amp, it also feels right at home playing full-band gigs. Case included.
