The Crafter Silver Series puts masterfully built instruments within affordable reach and includes the gig-ready electro-acoustic HD250. The mahogany back and sides of this dreadnought bodied guitar have been topped with an Engelmann spruce soundboard and the whole comes coated in a high-sheen gloss lacquer for a classic finish. Fitted with a preamp system, this guitar can be played amplified as well as unplugged, and once hooked up to a PA or acoustic amplifier, the volume and tone can be shaped using the onboard three-band EQ controls. A presence filter also hands guitarists control over the mid-frequencies, so this model can be tweaked to voice fingerpicking as well as strumming styles, while a feedback-countering phase button and built-in chromatic tuner serve as the tasty cherries on top.
