At first glance, Sugar Bytes Effectrix looks like a traditional sequencer where you stuff note-events in a little box. The difference here, however, is that we're not talking about MIDI notes, but effects! As a genuine effect sequencer, Effectrix includes a filter, stutter, reverse, reverb and much more, all of which make it possible to get a Brian Transeau-grade level of detail in your sound. You could say Effectrix offers a different take on Artillery 2, the difference lying in the way any effects are triggered (step-sequencer versus keys).
