This advanced interface is mainly meant for those who enjoy using a great number of DMX channels. This 19-inch converter is equipped with eight DMX-512 outputs, whereby every output equals an entire DMX universe. That makes 4,096 DMX channels that can all be utilised fully! The Node-8 is designed for the ArtNet protocol in order to send a large amount of DMX data through a network-controlled line, but can also work via Gigabit.

Speed and design of the Node-8

The Node-8 retains its speed thanks to the ArtNet and Gigabit protocols, but the hardware also needs to be up to the task, of course. to ensure this, two DMX data-processing speeds can be selected. This can be done via the standard DMX protocol with 250k speed or via a high 1,000k DMX speed! Furthermore, multiple Node-8 armatures or other ArtNet-compatible interfaces can be daisy-chained, allowing for even more extensive DMX constructions. This especially comes in handy with advanced video walls, whether they are constructed with intelligent lighting or not.
