The sound of the JD9 distortion pedal strongly resembles that of high-quality, hand-made pedals. The JD9 is a distortion pedal with many options, so you can use it for a wide range of genres. Choose a biting distortion when you want to play heavy genres, a tube amp-like sound similar to that of the Tube Screamer pedals or one of the various other sounds, from American hard rock to British metal.

The JD9 has a lightweight, robust metal housing and features first-grade 6.3mm jack connectors that make perfect contact with your cable so that the quality of the signal always remains optimal. A red LED indicator tells you whether the pedal is turned on or off and indicates when it's time to replace the battery. With the mid knob you can adjust the frequencies around 650 Hz and with the tone knob you can adjust the frequencies above 2 kHz.
