With the Danelectro DJ22 Black Licorice Beyond Metal distortion/octaver pedal you can get heavy distortion combined with or without the sound of a lower octave. There are just two controls and a switch, making it easy to use. The controls let you adjust the settings, while the switch is used to turn the octaver on or off. With the bass turned up, your drop-tuned riffs sound particularly low and dirty. Adding the octaver effect gives even more grit to the proceedings. The pedal is powered using a 9V battery or adapter.
