This Meinl cymbal set consists of three high-quality Mb8 cymbals, offering you an affordable bundle containing the 14-inch Medium Hi-hats, the 16-inch Medium crash and the 20-inch Medium Ride. You even get a Meinl MCC22 cymbal case to protect your cymbals during transport. The Mb8 cymbals are made of a B8 alloy (92% copper, 8% tin), which gives them plenty of volume and a cutting sound.

The cymbals in this set are sonically matched, to give your setup a well-balanced sound that is very versatile - they can handle anything from pop/rock to fusion and other, heavier styles of music. The hi-hats sound bright and open, with a well-defined 'chick', and the ride has an articulate bell with a glassy sound, a cutting ping and a lengthy sustain, as if it's really singing along with the music. The 16-inch crash has a balanced character - it doesn't go to extremes, but provides a bright tone with a powerful attack. It's best summed up as 'present, but not too prominent'.
