Take the TravLite DS420B: it's compact and folds right up by lifting up the four legs before pushing down the cone. What you then get is something that fits perfectly inside your trombone and that doesn't harm the finish of the instrument thanks to the fitted soft-pads. The extra 1.23kg? You won't even notice you've got your stand with you when you're toting your trombone.
