The Sennheiser MKE 2 P-C is a clip-on lavalier microphone that is equipped with an XLR connector. The lavalier microphone meets the demanding requirements of professionals and is highly robust. Its linear frequency response makes the microphone well suited for registering speech and instrument applications in every live situation. Sennheiser's umbrella-diaphragm protects the MKE 2 P-C against sweat.
The diaphragm of the MKE 2 P-C
The unique umbrella-diaphragm of the MKE 2 P-C ensures that only sound is picked up and nothing else. Sweat, running makeup and similar kinds of deposits are terrible for the life span and performance of your microphone, but the diaphragm neatly keeps these out, so that your lavalier microphone will last a very long time. The diaphragm has an omnidirectional pickup pattern, so that all the sound in its direct environment is picked up. It is insensitive to sound at a larger distance, so that you can use the MKE 2 P-C on stage, very well.
3-pin XLR connector
The Sennheiser MKE 2 P-C is equipped with a 3-pin XLR connector, so that it can directly be connected to devices with a 12-48V phantom power supply. This plug is attached to a 3-metre cable, so that you can incorporate the small lavalier microphone well in its environment.
