Fender's Precision bass was nothing short of revolutionary when it was first launched in 1951. This Precision bass is from Fender's Player series that follows on from the highly-popular Standard series. It's also made in Mexico and offers the same excellent value for money.

Player Precision Bass: authentic sound

The Player Precision bass is made of alder which is a wood type with a high level of density that gives it excellent resonance. The Player series split single-coil pickup was newly-designed for the Player series and delivers the renowned, typical punchy P-bass sound that can be tweaked to perfection using the volume and tone control knobs.

Playing comfort

For optimal playing comfort, the Player Precision bass has a maple neck with a modern C profile and a satin-gloss finish for a fast, smooth feel.
