Steinberg's Cubase is one of the most popular DAW software programs around and is used by top music producers around the world. Cubase Pro 9 is the version developed for professionals and includes countless new functions like MixConsole History, which tracks all of the changes you make and lets you select previous settings from a list. This makes it easy to compare different settings and experiment more with your mixes.
What else is new in Cubase Pro 9?
Sampler Track is another new function. You can add any piece of audio to create a Sampler Track, then play it chromatically, or edit it with its on-board filters and controls. It even maps to your keyboard. Frequency is a new 8-band equalizer with M/S support and other functionality including a Linear Phase mode for each band. Lower Zone is also new and lets you display various panels which gives you a much clearer overview and direct access to the editors and the MixConsole without having to leave the Project window. Better still, the panels can be re-sized so you can easily find the one you need whenever you need it.
Different editions
Cubase Pro 9 includes eight outstanding virtual instruments with over 3,400 sounds and a comprehensive effects section. Of course, it's possible to buy additional virtual instruments for even more possibilities. The software is easier to use than ever before and ensures an efficient workflow. In addition to the Pro version, there's Elements (the most basic version) and Artist. As well as those, there are special versions for educational purposes and a number of affordable upgrades available.

- If you activated an older version of Cubase (from version 6) on or after 26th October 2016, Steinberg is offering a grace period so that you can upgrade to version 9 for free. You can do this via the Steinberg website.

Beste DAW.
Top software. Cubase 9 is wat mij betreft de beste DAW die er is. Laat je niet verleiden door de zgn korting die bax geeft van 679 voor 487 want Cubase heeft nooit 679 gekost, nergens niet. De standaard prijs is 579 maar ja, dat doet bax bij elk product, misleidend!
Heb je Cubase ai of elements dan kun je beter via de steinberg website updaten, dat scheelt je meer geld. Overigens krijg je gezien de tekst (free upgrade to current version) hier niet direct cubase 9 maar cubase 8 of 8.5 die je dan online bij steinberg moet updaten naar versie 9. De versie (8 of 8.5) is van het plaatje afgepoetst
Een geweldige DAW elke dag kom je weer nieuwe dingen tegen.

Je travaillais avec le cubase élément 8, javoue quil nétait pas mal ! Il va sans dire que je travaille avec Steinberg depuis très longtemps et jai à mon actif quelques cd sur le marcher... Mais à savoir que le cubase pro 8,5 me donnerait plus de satisfaction sans hésiter, jai passé commande chez (Bax Shop), mais jai pris soin dappeler pour plus amples informations... En effet jai été accueilli avec enthousiasme par un agent de (Bax Music) qui a pris le soin de bien mexpliquer
maintenant je suis très heureux de mon cubase pro 8,5 qui sest transformé en cubase pro 9
puisque, lors de mon activation, jétais dans la période de grâce où la mise à jour dont la licence et le code dactivation qui me donnaient droit, au cubase pro 9... Bon achat au bon moment. Une livraison par GLS proposé par Bax Music. Livraison avec possibilité de suivi de commande
colis arrivé en bon état avec clé USB E-licence, +code dactivation, 2 cd dinstallations. Et en primes, 5 cd : halions 5, Halion Sonic 2 , THE GRAND SE 3, groove agent 4.. En trial bien sûr !...Mais un seul souci, on ne peut plus utiliser nos anciens plug-ins en 86 (32), car ce cubase sinstalle quen 64, mais comme il inclut une série de 8 instruments, dont un nombre infini de sons, et beaucoup de possibilités pour la création. Il y a vraiment de quoi faire.... ENFIN que du bonheur pour la composition je suis OK ! Tout bon ! Tout show ! Une nouvelle année 2017 de bons attraits qui se doit prometteuse

Steinberg heeft onder andere een "Sampler Track" en ook de werk wijzen voor mensen die maar met 1 beeldscherm werken verbetert
Het is zowel een Ideale DAW voor Opnames als "In The Box" Productie
Voor beginners raad ik toch altijd aan om eerst een Demo uit te proberen want het is kwa werkwijze altijd persoonlijk of je het wat vind

Going from cubase 5 to 9 was a bit of a shock for a few days till i navigated my way around the new interface, but its workflow possibilities are really cool and im begining to fall in love with it. Id seriously recommend this to anybody thinking about upgrading
