The Latin Percussion LP-552X-MSB is an 11-inch conga (quinto) from LP's Classic series of congas. The Classics were the very first LP congas, and they still serve as an example for many other congas to this day. The 11-inch Latin Percussion Classic Wood Quinto is made of Siam oak and fitted with a natural rawhide drumhead, which together result in a warm, deep sound. Finally, this professional conga features a beautiful matte sunburst finish and chrome-plated hardware.

The Latin Percussion Quinto, Conga and Tumba

This LP Classic instrument is what you'd call a quinto, which means you're dealing with an 11-inch conga. It matches perfectly with the LP552X-MSB 11 3/4-inch conga and the LP559X-MSB 12 1/2-inch tumba. All three instruments feature LP's Comfort Curve II rims, which offer optimal comfort and support for your palms. Furthermore, these durable drums are made of 3-ply laminated oak, while the top section of their shells is reinforced with fibreglass.
